Elias was born in a small village where the roads turned to mud whenever it rained. His father was a carpenter, and his mother sold vegetables in the market. They never had much, but every evening they laughed together over simple dinners lit by a single kerosene lamp.

When Elias was nine, his father died in a construction accident.

From that day on, everything changed.

His mother worked from sunrise until late at night to keep them alive. She often told Elias she had already eaten, but he would later find her quietly drinking water before bed because there wasn't enough food for both of them.

Elias believed her.

Every morning he walked nearly ten kilometers to school. He wore the same faded uniform for four years. During the rainy season, he crossed rivers barefoot so his only pair of shoes wouldn't be ruined.

His classmates laughed.

"You'll never be anything."

He smiled anyway.

Years passed, and through countless scholarships, sleepless nights, and impossible determination, Elias earned admission to one of the country's best universities.

It was the happiest day of his mother's life.

She borrowed money from neighbors to buy him a second-hand suitcase.
